Bracebridge is home to 3 major waterfalls, all located within a 10-minute drive of the downtown core.
Bracebridge Falls
These falls are located right in Downtown Bracebridge at The Silver Bridge and are one of the trademark sights of the community. They empty the water of the north branch of the Muskoka River down into Bracebridge Bay.
Wilson's Falls
Located just to the north of the downtown, off of River Road, Wilson's Falls has a great walking trail which provides a spectacular view of the falls. A picnic area is also available.
High Falls
In total, there are 5 waterfalls located at the High Falls site. These include Pott's Falls, Muskoka Canyon Falls, Little High Falls, Big High Falls and a 5th man-made falls to accommodate the High Falls Water Park. Much of this site is wheelchair accessible. Because it is adjacent to an MTO maintained park and is situated on the Trans-Canada Trail System, High Falls an ideal spot to stop and enjoy the view.
